So many things have been falling into place so very quickly. Less than five months ago I was laid off from a career that spanned 25 years. Between then and now, we've downsized our belongings, sold and given away so much, put the house on the market, sold it, and put into motion everything it takes to get oneself to France.
Each milestone has been enormous and has felt like an incredible accomplishment.
The biggest accomplishment thus far occurred today. Here's a short video of what happened. Live. In person. No retakes.
